FALL’S BERRY BEST HUE
August 25, 2008

Well the summer certainly has flown by and despite the fact that we’ve only been given a short season to wear all of our favourite fun, girly dresses, we know that you’re ready for some new fall fashion! And though the weather may dictate that it’s not quite time to bundle up, it is definitely time to start packing up all those spring florals, linens, and tank tops. And, as any fashionista would, you want to make sure that you’re the first to sport the season’s hottest, newest trends.

Some of the richest new colours from our fall transition collection The Edge, include deep berry tones and luscious raspberry. These juicy new colours are a great way to add a little life to those darker grey, brown, and black prints.

As you scan the aisles and your best friends' closet for fresh, new items to incorporate into your "back-to-work" wardrobe, we suggest that you look for great, easy-to-wear pieces, like a batwing style blouse in raspberry, purple or black - all of which look scrumptious when paired with grey trousers or a pencil skirt.

Remember, a hint of raspberry adds a little spice - wearing the whole raspberry bush may make you look a bit insane. To keep the hue alive, yet tone down an over-the-top berrylicious monotone ensemble, remember to always layer your outfit with some quality neutrals.

Another way to zest up your working closet is with this season's must-have blazer. Try one in a check pattern with some matching eggplant-coloured details and a great pair of slacks. Look for a great fitting pant that elongates your beach volleyball-toned legs and minimizes your s'mores-enjoying thigh and hip area. To complete your back-to-work look, add a pair of Oxford pumps and a large envelope clutch, big enough to carry your blackberry, granola bar, and even a small makeup case!
